Our Story
MKM Hospitality Group is a multi-disciplined consulting and advisory business offering strategic and operational solutions around the globe. Our services include concept creation, food and beverage plans, menu engineering, real estate negotiations, restaurant setup and management, marketing and personnel development. We also specialize in in launching restaurants and hotels as well as transforming struggling or economically challenged operations.
Joe is a leading restaurant and hospitality professional with over 35 years of extensive experience. He has held key positions such as the Chief Operating Officer of Gordon Ramsay North America, President and CEO of the Thomas Keller Restaurant Group, and President and CEO of Wolfgang Puck Worldwide for 21 years. Currently, he is the founder of MKM Hospitality Group and sits on the boards of a number of organizations to bring innovative strategies and solutions to the restaurant industry. Joe is also a Certified Public Accountant who graduated from Boston College with a degree in accounting and finance. He is known for developing top leaders in the field, being an expert in growth strategy, and building strong and efficient teams through fostering collaboration.

Akash serves as the Chief Executive officer at ideaTree Inc., which consists of a passionate team of industry experts, advisors, innovators, and founders whose experience and dedication help mentor future entrepreneurs, thereby helping them build disruptive startups of the future. Akash opened his first restaurant in 2006, and since then he has worked tirelessly to make the lives of restauranteurs around the world easier. With 10 years in the restaurant business and another 15 years working with restaurant technology, its safe to say no-one quite understands restaurant systems like Akash does.
